I love her, with all my heart
I wish good for both of us,
But at times my wish don't work
And I do act like a jerk.
At times I falter,
At times I fail
With actions of mine
Appear without spine
I fail, I fail, I fall big time
To the bottom from our prime
I fail to make her see
I fail to make her believe,
I fail to see what she sees
I fail to convince her what I believe
But, true to God, I try
Her house never appeared so far
On wide long twisting lanes
I failed to run, all I could was crawl
The sun shone on me, screeching hot;
With sweat of heat, with angst of fall

Nice poem. You seem to have had a recent break-up
Did you succeed? Is this how it ends or is there more?
No breakup!..poem is still in progress!...will complete it after I get some time.
